Rainfall, snow, and the scorching heat from the summer sun can wreck concrete. The Lower Mainland is known for its heavy rainfall and concrete surfaces feel those effects almost daily. But lucky for you, Langley Concrete Contractors can rejuvenate, replenish, and refurbish your floors in a very cost-effective manner. Decorative concrete resurfacing solutions are a great way to fix concrete and protect it from the harm caused by extreme weather and the wear and tear that happens over time. |

Here are some different types of concrete coatings and overlays, each with its own advantages:
Stamped ConcreteStamped Concrete Overlay: Gives you the opportunity to choose from a large selection of concrete stamp patterns/textures that can be imprinted on the overlay, including brick, flagstone, slate, and cobblestone.
Stained Concrete: Acid stains can create colors and effects that are similar to stone and leather. Water-based stains can give you a choice of many different lively colors that dry to a translucent finish. Polished Concrete: A concrete surface grinding series using grits that produces a fine, polished surface that is sealed with a concrete type of sealer to keep it shiny and smooth! Advantages of Residential Decorative Concrete for upgrade and repair: Using decorative concrete makes use of the existing concrete, making it a lot more affordable than re-pouring concrete by reducing expenses. As an example, staining concrete means just applying stains on a clean concrete surface that isn’t damaged. Concrete overlay applications, such as stamped concrete and spray knockdown finish, can be customized with stamps, stains, and score-lines, giving you limitless ways to design your concrete. You don’t need to re-pour cement when you do Decorative Concrete, therefore you will reduce carbon emissions caused by cement production, making the process very environmentally-friendly. |
Exposed Aggregate Concrete
Aggregate Finishes
Exposed aggregate finishes can spice up and beautify otherwise plain-looking concrete sidewalks, walkways, decks, and plaza surfaces. Most of the aggregate finishes that we use are mineral materials, such as sand or small stones. There are a few different ways of making an exposed aggregate finish in concrete such as seeding your chosen aggregate into the surface of the concrete, the “monolithic” method where the exposed aggregate is mixed into the batch of concrete, the “topping slab” maneuver in which a topping slab of concrete is used to make an exposed aggregate finish. Examples of Aggregate Finish materials that we use: Limestone, terra cotta, slate, tile, brass insets, crushed rock like granite, obsidian, quartz, serpentine, marble, glass, gems and minerals like turquoise, agate, pyrite “fools gold”, jasper, serpentine, seashells, beach pebbles, Silica carbide, Mica, and “Pixie Dust.” Langley Concrete Contractors’ expert group of concrete installers will resurface and refinish driveways, patios, pool decks, garage floors, commercial flooring, and much, much more!
